But sometimes the terrible twos poke through the cool child and he exerts free will, which he is just learning exists. Most of the time we just call him "Destructive Dan" because he's starting throwing or smashing things just to see what happens. Most of the time we can curb it quickly, but it's usually the dinner tossing that gets to Mommy.
Daddy (a.k.a. Andy) has been working on our exterior garage/barn in the backyard to turn it into a nice workshop for him and eventually his car he's working on (that's currently in storage up north). Colton loves the garage and has started learning about Daddy's tools.
Meanwhile, Mommy and Sienna hang out inside the house with the air conditioning while we're going through this heat wave (and early baby + post-surgery recovery). I am supposed to be finishing my thesis in order to actually graduate the end of the month, but I find myself just staring at the baby a lot.
The blanket is from some co-workers of Andy - it came the day we got home from the hospital with her name embroidered on it. So sweet!!
